The past is hidden somewhere outside the realm of the intellect,
in some material object…”
— Marcel Proust
A Pucci jumpsuit from the 1970s.
Worn by my mother
before I existed.
Worn by me later. Found on the attic…
My mother died.
Today the jumpsuit no longer exists.
Not in my parents’ house.
Only in a photograph.
This series consists of self-portraits.
Within them, different times collapse unexpectedly:
the 1970s,
later,
and now.
Each image functions as a time capsule —
not memory as recollection,
but as simultaneity.
