Sometimes reality needs a little cotton wool.
Paris provides it — steeped in perfume, wrapped in midnight boulevards, drifting dresses, and a shimmer that is more dream than place.
As in Midnight in Paris, the night turns into a script of memory and desire.
Between the Rive Gauche and the clochard, between a trace of Chanel No. 5 and the glow of the streetlamps, the old enchantment stretches out once more.
Baudelaire wrote it, Brassaï saw it — as flâneur and as gaze.
Fashion, literature, amour: everything floats in a soft twilight that blurs the edges of the world for just a moment.
And sometimes, that’s enough.
